Anna Wintour, Marc  Jacobs, and More Join Mayor Bloomberg to Announce Details For Fashion’s Night Out 2010
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, flanked by  over a dozen design luminaries and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, announced the details of Fashion’s Night Out 2010 this afternoon. Now in its second year, Fashion’s Night Out will be held Sept. 10 throughout  New York City, with nearly 1,000 retailers participating in the after-hours shopping spree.

Anna Wintour, Marc Jacobs, and More Join Mayor Bloomberg to Announce Details For Fashion’s Night Out 2010

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, flanked by over a dozen design luminaries and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, announced the details of Fashion’s Night Out 2010 this afternoon.

Now in its second year, Fashion’s Night Out will be held Sept. 10 throughout New York City, with nearly 1,000 retailers participating in the after-hours shopping spree.

Fashion’s Night Out Extended to 6 Days
This year’s ‘Fashion’s Night Out’ has been extended to be a six-day global shopping event. Altogether the festivites will be celebrated in 16 countries between the dates of September 5th and the 16th (New York gets it’s turn for shopping and drinks on September 10th). And even if you won’t be available for jet-setting across the globe, you can catch the Fashion’s Night Out CBS special that will air on September 15th at 8pm to see footage collected from the global affairs. See that… Anna just wants to make everyone happy.

Vidal Sassoon Talks to StyleList
Until Sex and The City 2 comes out next month, you can curb your fashion movie craving with the Vidal Sassoon documentary that just premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in New York. Unfortunately, due hospitalization from a stint with pneumonia, Sassoon was unable to attend but we caught up with him over the phone to talk the bob cut, Anna Wintour, and the ‘caucasion afro’.
