Blake Lively’s Chanel Handbag Campaign Revealed

We all know Chanel’s bagged a brand new mademoiselle — Blake Lively — and now it’s time to see the brand’s newest face in action.

The “Gossip Girl” star fronts the campaign for the French house’s new range of Mademoiselle handbags. Shot by Karl Lagerfeld, the first image from the ad campaign, now out in weekly and monthly magazines, sees the blond beauty pressed up against a mirror, clad in a black feathered Chanel top with a red patent Mademoiselle bag slung over her shoulder.

Blake Lively Is the New Face of Chanel

Seems Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld is getting some serious face time with muse Blake Lively.

The “Gossip Girl” star has recently been in Paris filming a new ad campaign for the fashion house, E! News is reporting. Lively will promote the brand’s handbags in a campaign that will be released in early 2011, according to the news site.

The “Bootylicious” singer wore her golden tresses in big, voluminous curls to host Lorraine Schwartz’s jewelry collection launch in Beverly Hills, California yesterday. A gold eyeshadow, glossy nude lip, and highlighter applied to all the right places, worked together to achieve this fresh, yet fancy glow.

Scream Awards Best Dressed - Megan Fox, Blake Lively and More

Although M.I.A.’s controversial burqa getup might not win her Best Dressed bragging rights at the 2010 Spike Scream Awards, there were plenty of other ladies competing for the title at the horror-and-sci-fi-themed event.

Two of the most impressive ensembles, in our opinion, were worn by Blake Lively and newlywed Anna Paquin, who both stunned in completely different frocks.
